Hello everyone well i finally got vista to work no bugs in installation. But i have pet one final question- Can you install windows vista and still have the windows operating system im running now? If its not possible I am not waisting my time installing vista because it detected lots of programs that will not work with windows vista.... So does anyone know? Do NOT wipe out the Windows XP system that you are relying on. Vista is a BETA TEST WITH KNOWN DEFECTS and is not reliable enough to use for anything more than testing!
What you probably want to do is install Vista on a different hard disk, or a different disk partition, than XP. My understanding is that it comes with a utility that will let you choose between one and the other.

He will get a boot options screen that offers his old and new systems.
